The 77th iteration of the cinematic festival is one of the major events to take place since the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic with all the precautions of social distancing.

Apart from all Cate revealed she will be donating the outfits to an auction by Chic Relief, a non-profit organization by Stewart. All the earnings will be donated to an educational company Facing History and UN women.
While the red carpet had different attire look rather than other years, hence the stars arrived with a protective face mask, which was temporarily removed for quick photoshoots.
Safety measures in the function include a mandatory face mask, temperature checking, and social distancing even while red carpet.
The show period will run until Saturday, September 12.
