AEW Dynamite, also known as Wednesday Night Dynamite or simply Dynamite, is a professional wrestling television program that is produced by the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and airs on TNT in the United States. AEW Dynamite featured the debut of “The Bubbly Bunch” with The Inner Circle and a marathon of the main event between Jon Moxley and Jake Hager in an empty arena match. Throughout the broadcast, AEW, Bellator and ESPN broadcasters weighed in on who they thought would be victorious.

In the opening match, Colt Cabana took on Lance Archer in the first round of the TNT Championship Tournament. Colt put on a robust showing and kept fighting despite a pretty bad beating but in the end of course, Archer got the victory advancing to the next round of the tournament.

Dr. Britt Baker returned to the squared circle, one week after tasting her own blood in a battle with Hikaru Shida, and squared off with young Cassandra Golden. Baker defeated Golden. In the next match Kip Sabian taking on Chuck Taylor. Sabian had Penelope Ford by his side while Orange Cassidy backed up Taylor. After a back-and-forth, Jimmy Havoc leaped out from the crowd and attacked Cassidy, while Penelope Ford hit Chuckie T with a flying head-scissor, which allowed Sabian to pick up the victory. Shawn Spears took on Justin Law and quickly defeated him.

In a No Holds Barred Match for the AEW World Championship, reigning champion Jon Moxley defended his title against Jake Hager. In a match framed as a realistic, gritty fight all across the arena, Jon Moxley ultimately picked up the win and retained his title. N

Next Tuesday’s AEW Dynamite lineup has been announced with the TNT Championship Tournament continuing. Fans will see both Sammy Guevera vs Darby Allin and Kip Sabian vs Dustin Rhodes go down. Cody will face the winner of Guevara and Allin while Lance Archer takes on either Sabian or Rhodes.

The finals will take place on May 23 at Double or Nothing. Next week will also feature Jimmy Havoc vs Orange Cassidy. Havoc took down Cassidy while he was at ringside for Chuck Taylor vs Kip Sabian on tonight’s show, so the two set to settle their differences next week. It also revealed tonight Brodie Lee is going to be in action, and Kenny Omega will have a match against an unnamed opponent.
