The couples on social media began a quarantine-themed wine on Sunday. Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis say, the total profit goes to the coronavirus relief efforts. The wine named Quarantine Pinot Noir is rated $50 for two bottles.
The ‘Steve Jobs’ on silver screen mentions about the blank label of the wine. He asks to write or draw in the blank label and post it on Instagram.
“Crack open a bottle of this wine, enjoy a virtual happy hour with a friend or loved one, and write or draw who you’re toasting to from the comfort of your own home. Snap a pic and post it using #QUARANTINEWINE, #PPE, and #SOCIALDISTANCING to spread the word about this awesome wine and fundraising cause!
Kutcher tells about their children who have been virtual hangouting with friends and support a charity during this pandemic. It was Kunis’s idea for the wine.
The Golden Globe Winner Kunis talked about considering this wine as a charitable donation. ” One hundred percent of the proceeds go to a handful of charities that we have done homework on, vetted out to make sure that they are supposed to, their outcome is visible, and so we took the guessing game out in the case you want to help people.”
The charity that the couple chooses for the profits from the wine goes to
i) Give Directly that gives cash grants directly to families on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program
ii) America’s Food Fund, which is a collaboration between Feeding America and World Central Kitchen, which ensures reliable and safe access to food.
iii) Frontline Responses Fund, which buys and delivers Personal Protective Equipment and ventilators to medical facilities.
iv) Direct Relief, which provides medical equipment and Personal Protective Equipment to frontline workers and Emergency Medical Services.
