Beyonce thanks all the doctors and the health care workers for taking care of us, and we continue to pray for your safety. She mentions about the delivery workers and sanitation employees and thanks to them for their selfless service.

During One World: Together at Home live concert, the lead singer of Destiny’s Child talks to the people staying inside homes. She asks all people to continue to stay inside the house and stay positive.

“Tonight we celebrate true heroes, those who are making the ultimate sacrifice to keep us aa safe, fed and healthy. To the doctors, nurses and other health care workers who are away from their families, taking care of ours, we continue to pray for your safety. To those in the food industry, delivery workers, mail carriers and sanitation employees who are working so that we can be safe in our homes, thank you for your selfless service.”

The most powerful female of 2015 and 2017 did not just take this opportunity for thanking but also delivered a powerful message. She talks about Black Americans who are disproportionately affected by the novel coronavirus. She mentions that 57 per cent of fatal cases are African Americans.

“Black Americans disproportionately belong to these essential parts of the workforce that do not have the luxury of working from home and African American communities have been severely affected in this crisis. Those with preexisting conditions are at an even higher risk. This virus is killing black people at an alarmingly high rate in America. A recent report from my home city of Houston, Texas, showed that COVID-19 deaths within Houston city limits, 57 per cent of fatal cases are African American.”

She ends by saying “We are one family, and we need you.” She wishes everyone to protect themselves and withstand this epidemic.
