BTS Is Twitter’s Top Music Act Amid Covid-19 Quarantine

BTS takes the place on Twitter As Most mentioned Account and most liked tweet amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

BTS,  the South Korean group that broke its record with the latest single, “Dynamite,” a new record holder for the highest number of YouTube viewers finds the place on Twitter.  

 

Twitter announced a trend report under the banner “ Twitter From Home. The report analyzes tweet activity between March 1 and Sep 1-  bounding the six months of time period amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Three K- pop bands are depicted on Twitter’s list of the top 10 most-tweeted-about artists in the U.S. for the past six months. BTS, Beyonce, and Kayne west are the three to occupy.

Kayne West clocks in No. 2, even though he hadn’t released much music this year, the rapper has made numerous headlines in his bid to run for president in the 2020 election. 

Beyonce rounds out the top 3 through her Disney Plus film. “Black Is King” is also the second most tweeted about the movie over the same time period.  Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B were also there to grace the list. Megan Thee Stallion surged into the spotlight of social profile in a part of the gunshot wound she suffered in July and claimed rapper Tory Lanez the person who shot her. 

Bad Bunny, the only Latin hip hop artist on the list, educed a hoard of reactions with his women dressed style, during quarantine time for his “Yo Perreio Sola” music video. A video that could create memes ahead to collaborate with Dua Lipa and Tainy on “UN DIA (ONE DAY)” and made Band Bunny at No.7 position.  

BTS not only dominated  Twitter in 2020 they were the star in 2018, Its uncountable times BTS trended on Twitter worldwide which the boy’s group’s influence on the social networking site.
