White House spokesman Hogan Gidley said in a statement, “The White House Medical Unit recently notified us that a member of the United States Military, who works on the White House campus, has tested positive for Coronavirus.”

The White House instituted safety protocols nearly two months ago, including frequent temperature checks. Last month it began administering rapid COVID-19 tests to all those close to the President, with staffers tested about once a week.
Trump has now been tested at least twice for the coronavirus, and both times tested negative. A test on 2nd April came out negative, the White House said.
