COVID-19 is taking a huge toll on the nation wide celebrations and festivals. An initial sign was made by calling off the celebrations and gatherings with the postponing of Cannes Festival 2020, and now it’s the ‘Forecastle Festival’
The annual music festival of Louisville, ‘The Forecastle Festival,’ is eventually canceled, causing another setback for music audience due to coronavirus.

The festival organizers said the event which was scheduled at Waterfront Park from July 17- 19 has been canceled. The organizers promise that the tickets will be automatically refunded at point of purchase, and they will receive an email with details on timing and processing.
The 18th edition of the event was to be headlined by Jack Johnson, Grammy-winning Cage the Elephant and The 1975. The other performers included Jack Harlow, Grace Potter, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Third Eye Blind.
Forecastle fans have to wait for more than a year as the organizers promise they will come back strongly in 2021. The fans are keeping their fingers crossed for the next edition.
The Forecastle was founded in 2002 by JK McKnight, which was a small community at first that grew up with now having more than 75,000 fans each year. The event is produced by Tennessee-based AC Entertainment.
