George Floyd’s daughter Gianna comprehend that her dad’s death, a phlegmatic act by Minneapolis P.D officers has ‘Changed the world’ through the nationwide protest for the brutal act
George Floyds 46, died after being arrested by police in Minneapolis, Minnesota on 25th May which led nationwide protests. The Gentle Giant who died kneeled on his neck for more than eight minutes in between he told them “ I can’t breathe” Floyd who is survived by his wife and a 6-year-old daughter Gianna. Gianna in her small age itself comprehends how significant a figure her late dad has become.

The six-year-old and her mom Roxie Wahington along with NBA player Stephen Jackson at a news conference in Minneapolis were Roxie spoke about the impact of her husband’s death who was pinned by a white police officer in Minneapolis. The video of the brutal act went viral on the internet.
Following the media event. Stephen gave a tear-jerking video by giving Gianna a ride atop his shoulders and what the little baby wanted to say via the video which will make all hearts sink.

The former NBA player could be heard repeating the same line that Gianna said.

Derick Chauvin, the officer behind the brutal act has been arrested and charged with third degree murder and second degree manslaughter. The other police officers have been fired, not arrested.
Many flout curfews in various cities, imposed after violence and looting in different parts of the US.
George’s wife and Giann’s mom Roxie for the first time addressed the news conference revealing her heart breaking pain for her husband. She said, I’m here for my baby, and I’m here for George, because I want justice for him.” She added, “ He was a good man as a father, He was happy to have her,” cuddling her kid.
Roxie added her daughter’s deep loss for her father, “ I want everybody to know that this is what those officers took from (her), and at the end of the day, they get to go home and be with their families, Gianna does not have a father. He will never see her grow up, graduate, he will never walk her down the aisle, If there’s a problem and she needs her dad, she doesn’t have anymore,” bursting into tears.
George was a native of Houston, had relocated to Minneapolis where he was working as a truck driver. The gentle giant who was trying to turn his life around.
The protest for the death of Floyd for justice proves the solidarity of the US people and also a demanding fight against the crimes against the African=Americans in the United States.
