Hallmark channel known primarily for its Christmas rom come, is up with yet another Yuletide creations! The brand new movie ‘Christmas in Vienna’ which got premiered in hallmark channel on November 14th has won many accolades so far. With this movie Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas has officially begun and as a result Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Miracles of Christmas is scheduled to continue this weekend with the premiere of four new movies of 2020.

The movie ‘Christmas in Vienna’, is a festive love story about concert violinist Jess (Sarah Drew) and American diplomat Mark (Brennan Elliott). After Jess is invited to perform at the Vienna Music Hall’s prestigious Christmas Eve concert, she travels to Vienna two weeks early to visit her friend Tori, who is cousins with Mark and is a nanny to his children. Jess forms a special bond with Mark’s children when she agrees to watch them so Tori can sell crafts at the Christmas market, but she also forms a lasting connection with Mark.

But the viewers seems to be quite puzzled when it comes to the location of the movie. Unlike many other Hallmark Christmas movies, the decorations and atmosphere were 100% authentic because it was filmed at Christmastime. This has thus led to a constant search for Where was ‘Christmas in Vienna’filmed? whic has infact made them restless.

We know the film takes place in the Austrian city. But where is the exact location? Did they visit Vienna for its shooting? Yes. They did! Finally the revelations came up from Sara Drew.

The movie was filmed on location in Vienna, Austria, in Christmas 2019, Drew revealed when she appeared on Home & Family.Drew told Home & Family that this was “one of those once in a lifetime experiences.”

She said: “We were shooting in December, leading up to Christmas, walking down … in the actual Christmas marketplaces. … That’s not set decorations, that is what it looked like! The only thing we had to add was snow sometimes, but we were inside of St. Steven’s Cathedral. We climbed all the way to the top of the bell tower and shot up there. We literally didn’t have to decorate because everything was decorated for the holidays… We were working in the middle of actual shoppers from all over the world… It was incredible.”She also addd that shooting in the Ferris wheel which was built in 1897 was indeed a magical moment for her.

‘Christmas in Vienna’is merely a start, says Hallmark channel. The latest updates from the Chanel announced that a series of new movies are scheduled to debut through Dec. 20. Movies premiere at 8 p.m. for the Countdown to Christmas and at 10 p.m. for the Miracles of Christmas. Following ‘Christmas in Vienna’ which was aired on Saturday “A Timeless Christmas” will be the second to be premiered at 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15.
