Halo 2 is back on PC from Today

Halo 2 is launching for PC Today at 11 PM ET/8 PM PT. Microsoft is releasing the game late during the US day due to “current bandwidth concerns across the globe,” the developer 343 industries said on Twitter. Recently, the surprise that Microsoft Word and PowerPoint gave to its iPad users was hailed by all and now its up for yet another adventure.

Issues in Halo 2 that will persist with the release. Some of them are quite dangerous and can block a player’s experience.

Some campaign missions will also experience FPS drops at the start, while gunfire sounds are missing for multiple weapons when using the Scarab Skull. “Sometimes things take time, and it’s hard to communicate that out to the fan base,” developer 343 industries says.

“This is modern game development. We need not be scared to say, ‘Yeah, we ran into some problems. This is what our plan is, let’s talk about that, let’s work together on it, we’re going to fly it, please give us feedback on it, what you say matters to us, we’ll adjust. It’s moving along pretty well. I think people will be happy with the result, though they’ve had to wait longer.” he added.

John Junyszek developer 343 industries also posted times for other countries. On May 13, the UK will have the game at 4 AM, while Moscow and Tokyo will see it unlock at 6 AM and noon, respectively. A lot of fans have been eager to have it in their library.
