On the night of ‘The Last Dance’ premiere, the Dream Team jersey worn by Air Jordan was sold for $2,16,000 through Robert Edward Auctions.
The jersey was last sold for $53,325 in a public auction in 2013. This time, the jersey crosses the six-digit mark, and the lucky buyer can wear the jersey next Sunday during the next episode of The Last Dance.

The bid started at a base price of $25,000 on April 7 and ended at the premiere of ‘ The Last Dance’ second episode. Jordan signed the jersey with “Best wishes” registered on it.

“Michael Jordan is arguably the most iconic athlete of all-time, winning six NBA titles and two Olympic Gold medals. Collectors relished a rare opportunity to own Jordan’s jersey from the 1992 Dream Team”, says the President of Robert Edward Auctions, Brian Dwyer.
The jersey was sold initially in September 1992 for $17,500, and all funds went to the Michael Jordan Foundation.
1992 has the “Dream Team” including a list of hall of fame members like Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Charles Barkley, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Patrick Ewing, David Robinson, Clyde Drexler, Scottie Pippen, Chris Mullin and Christian Laettner. The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame called this team “the greatest collection of basketball talent on the planet.” Chuck Daly served as the team’s head coach assisted by Lenny Wilkens, P. J. Carlesimo and Mike Krzyzewski.
