“Jupiter’s Legacy” is coming to Netflix in May 2021!

The live-action adaptation of Mark Millar and Frank Quitely’s Image Comics series will debut on the giant streaming platform ‘Netflix’. The platform had released a teaser for the forthcoming superhero drama. The eight-episode series is set to release on May 7, 2021. Netflix describes the series: “After nearly a century of keeping mankind safe, the world’s first generation of superheroes must look to their children to continue the legacy. But tensions rise as the young superheroes, hungry to prove their worth, struggle to live up to their parents’ legendary public reputations and exacting personal standards.”

The teaser trailer of the series begins with “One day you’re gonna be stronger than anyone else in the world,” and it continues to “Every evil you can imagine is gonna rise up against mankind. Not for justice… for vengeance. And you’re gonna be the future.” The first season of the series consists of eight episodes.

The synopsis of the dama is as follows “ After nearly a century of keeping mankind safe, the world’s first generation of superheroes must look to their children to continue the legacy. But tensions rise as the young superheroes, hungry to prove their worth, struggle to live up to their parents’ legendary public reputations and exacting personal standards.”

Creators Mark Millar and Frank Quitely serve as executive producers on Jupiter’s Legacy along with Lorenzo Di Bonaventura, Dan McDermott, Steven S. DeKnight, James Middleton and Sang Kyu Kim. Netflix’s Jupiter’s Legacy stars Josh Duhamel as The Utopian, Ben Daniels as Brain-Wave, Leslie Bibb as Lady Liberty, Elena Kampouris as Chloe Sampson, Andrew Horton as Brandon Sampson, Mike Wade as The Flare, Anna Akana as Raikou and Matt Lanter as Skyfox.
