‘Kerry Washington’ The “Little Fires Everywhere Star” Conveys Her Message To Help Texans Amid The Catastrophic Winter Storm

Kerry Washington the 37-year-old actress took a post on Twitter requesting to help Texans by Donating and assisting them with prayers. Hence the deadly winter storm in the US has brought deadly weather conditions with cold freezing rain in Texas. 

In Texas, 150 million Americans were now under winter storm warnings. Deaths have been reported in Tennessee, Texas, Kentucky, and Louisiana. 

US President Joe Biden has approved a state of emergency in Texas, which has seen some of its coldest temperatures in more than 30 years- some areas hit OF(-18C) on Sunday. 

The high demand for electricity in the state has caused the power grid to fall, Rolling blackouts have been imposed in some areas to conserve power for hospitals, police, and fire stations, leaving over 4.3 million people without electricity.

Hence it’s difficult to know how to help from afar, so hence some of the known celebrities are there to share helpful information about warning centers and other resources through social media.
