Laver Cup put back to 2021 due to rescheduled French Open

The Fourth Edition of the Laver Cup has been postponed, which was to be held from September 25-27. The French Open, which had rescheduled to September 20- October 4 will happen during the planned time.

Founded by Roger Federer’s management company, The Laver Cup will still be hosted by Boston’s TD Garden in the next year.

“Unfortunately, the Laver Cup has to push back a year, but at this stage it’ the right thing to do for everyone concerned”- words of the founder and the 20 time Grand Slam Champion.

“We needed to make a decision now on our event. We know our passionate fans will be disappointed that they have to wait an extra year for the Laver Cup in Boston, but this is the responsible course of action, necessitated by the emerging calendar conflicts.”, mentioned the Laver Cup Chairman Tony Godsick.
