Louise Linton’s directorial debut film “Me You Madness” has landed a home at STXfilms and Highland Film Group. Linton, an actress and the wife of U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin brings up her debut movie as a campy comedy-thriller. STX had grabbed the U.S. rights to “Me You Madness”.
Other than writing and directing Lindon had also starred in her debut as a beautiful, intelligent and successful businesswoman who lives a life of luxury in Malibu. She has no need for a man except to satisfy her natural serial killer instinct, literally. When Tyler (Ed Westwick), a petty thief, responds to her online roommate ad, he thinks he’s struck gold. He has no idea that after a night of partying and passion, he is really just on her menu to be her next victim until real romance gets in the way.
Years back in 2017, Linton and her “Me you Madness” co-star made headlines for different reasons. Linton made headlines for a social media post tagged with the names of designers she was wearing when she and her husband travelled to Fort Knox. Linton’s “Me You Madness” co-star Westwick had been accused by three women of sexual assault in 2017, stemming from alleged incidents in 2014. The actor has denied the claims and the Los Angeles District Attorney said in 2018 that there wasn’t enough evidence to pursue charges.
Linton and Kristen Ruhlin produced “Me You Madness” via their Stormchaser Films banner. STXfilm is planning a mid-February VOD release.
