Barcelona said late Wednesday that it reached a deal with Atletico Madrid for the transfer of the Uruguay striker for 6 million euros ($7 million). Today the club had posted a few images and videos of Luis having a farewell.
In a video, the player says “Hello to all Culers. I wanted to say goodbye to all of you. This isn’t a ‘goodbye forever’, but rather a ‘see you later’, because, for sure, I will return to the club at some point.

Another video shows the player along with his three kids Delfina, Benjamin and Lautaro visiting and taking photographs from the locker room. The club captioned the video “Saying goodbye to his locker 9️⃣ #9raciasLuis”.
After leaving Barcelona to join Atletico Madrid, Luis Suarez said he is departing from the club “with a feeling of fulfilment”. With Barcelona, Suarez won four La Liga titles and a Champions League. Suarez scored 21 goals in 36 games for Barca during the 2019-20 season.
