The first series from Marvel Studios, WandaVision will premiere on Disney+, from Jan. 15, 2021, on the streaming service. The six-episode show was previously scheduled to debut sometime this year, but WandaVision will still arrive on Disney+ ahead of any other Marvel Studios series and even before its original window of next spring.
The streamers shared the news on Twitter captioning it as “A new era arrives. @MarvelStudios’ #WandaVision, an Original Series, is streaming Jan. 15 on #DisneyPlus”. “WandaVision” will bring back Elizabeth Olson and Paul Bettany as their Marvel Cinematic Universe characters Wanda Maximoff and Vision, the latter died in “Avengers: Infinity War” and was not among the many MCU characters revived in the prequel, “Avengers: Endgame.”
Along with Bettany and Olsen, “WandaVision” will feature the debut of Teyonah Parris as the adult version of Monica Rambeau. The series features some other familiar MCU characters, including Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings) from “Thor” and “Thor: The Dark World” and Agent Jimmy Woo (Randall Park) from “Ant-Man and The Wasp”.
