Descendants actor Booboo Stewart also stars as a younger version, and The Lost Girls actress Amelia Minto will star as Cindy Lou Who. After this announcement, it was on Thursday a crystal clear idea about this new venture was made out to the public.
Based on Dr. Seuss classic “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” the brand new musical event by NBC has now placed its viewers at the hiatus of expectations. The teaser released on Thursday won a warm welcome from the audience.
Mathew Morrison appeared impeccable in his ‘Grinch’ look!
The brief teaser incorporates the classic tune “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” as Morrison, dressed in a striped scarf and vest over green fur and makeup, winks and declares, “I hate Christmas.” A brief preview of the ad was debuted during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade broadcast, and the cast performed a short glimpse of the show during the parade, primarily featuring Morrison in full Grinch regalia introducing a musical number from the Troubadour Theater in London.
However the reactions to the first look on social media was not exactly receptive, with many viewers sharing their horrified and/or disgusted responses on Twitter.
“I was watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade and my eyes were assaulted by a promo of the new Grinch musical with Matthew Morrison. NBC woke up and chose violence”— Diego (@idekdiego) November 26, 2020-posted one.

Also many others were extremely desperate and unsatisfied at the unrecognizable ‘Grinch look’ of their favorite actor. While the rest appreciated it as an ‘epic creation’ ever!
