The Netflix-produced science fiction film is in fact an adaptation of the novel ‘Good Morning, Midnight’ by Lily Brooks-Dalton. Clooney appears as Augustine, a lonely scientist in the Arctic, who is engrossed in the aim to stop a group of astronauts from returning home to a global catastrophe. Even though the teaser only lasts for 20 seconds, its gripping force has left the viewers baffled and restless. The single rhetoric “Is anyone out there?” uttered by Clooney in the teaser itself encapsulates the whole air of mystery that the movie is attempting to throw forth. Such was its gravity on the movie geeks.
