Princess Love has filed for divorce from Ray J, four months after the couple announced the birth of their second child together.
Ray J and Princess married in August 2016. They share a daughter, Melody, and new baby, son Epik Ray Norwood. Princess reportedly filed the docs Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
When asked about the filing, a rep for the couple told PEOPLE: “It’s a challenging time for both Princess and Ray J and we are asking that we just let them have their privacy as they work through and deal with this very trying situation.”
As news of the divorce filing broke, Princess shared a caption-less post of a baseball cap, which is slang for “no lie.
“I’m lonely right now. I don’t want to quarantine by myself,” Ray previously complained. “I keep telling Princess, but she says, ‘If I see one person over there with you, you got to start over.’ So I have to lock myself in because I miss my kids.”
The two, who wed in 2016, briefly separated in November 2019 after Princess, who was heavily pregnant at the time, accused Ray of abandoning her and their two-year-old daughter, Melody, in Las Vegas after the Soul Train Awards. They both threatened divorce, but reunited ahead of the birth of their second child, son Epik, in December.
