In the 28th match of IPL 2020, RCB vs KKR match ended with the ROYAL victory of royal challengers Bangalore. RCB grabbed a gigantic victory of 82 runs thus hiked to the 3rd position in the point table. Royal Challengers Bangalore restricted Kolkata Knight Riders for a total of 112 runs for 9 wickets in their quota of 20 overs. Shubman Gill is the highest scorer with 34 runs. The highest partnership of the innings was held between Nitish Rana and Shubman Gill who contributed 28 runs to the innings.

RCB won the toss and made the decision to bat first. The opening batsman performed well proving their skipper’s decision to bat first was right. Young batsman Padikkal and Finch brought a good score in the powerplay. The team scored 78 runs with the loss of Padikkal’s wicket in the first 10 overs. Padikal was playing well but ended up being bold for Russel, trying an unnecessary shot. Kohli joined Finch in the second wicket. Finch scores well with Boundaries and big hits. Even though Finch failed before Prasidh Krishna at the 12th over and the team total remained 99. Finch missed his half-century and ended up in 47 of 37 balls faced. Ab De Villiers joined Kohli and began punishing the KKR bowlers. Mr 360 scored an Incredible knock of 73 runs just from 33 balls faced, and brought the team to a total of 194 by the end of 20 overs. Skipper Kohli provided a good company for AbD, he scored 33 of 28.

The second innings by KKR was not much impressive the openers struggled in scoring. KKR lost their opener Banton in the 3rd over and the team score was just 23. KKR keeps on losing wickets. Gill is the highest scorer with 34 runs. The team ended up their inning with just 112/9 in the 20 overs. All the RCB bowlers took wickets, Chriss morris and Washington Sundar are the leading wicket-takers with 2 each and all other bowlers took 1 wicket each. RCB bowlers took over, raising hopes that this could be the year.
