‘Station 19’, the bravery tale of the firefighters has come up with its brand new season embellished with spine chilling suspense and mysteries. There was a lot going on in tonight’s all-new season of Station 19. Especially in the life of Andy.
Station 19’s leading lady, played by Jaina Lee Ortiz, lost her best friend, then she lost her dad, then she discovered that her brand new husband Robert Sullivan (Boris Kodjoe) had a drug addiction and had been stealing pills from work, and then she found out that her mom was actually alive after 20 years of being thought dead. Again, it’s a lot!
In the Season 3 finale, Andy wasn’t satisfied with her dad Pruitt’s (Miguel Sandoval) explanations, so she called her aunt and found her mom right there. This was in fact an unexpected news for a person who had been all the way leading a life with the belief that her mom is dead. This not only gave an electrifying impact for Andy but also was indeed a moment that gave a short burst of emotion for the viewers as well.
“It will be shocking but it will also be what everyone kind of needed,” Ortiz told E! News of what Andy’s in for in season four. “I feel like Andy’s going to go through a journey of recovery and liberation and growth. Because she’s been through the wringer. It’s been traumatic, to say the least, but I feel like you have to kind of like, dig into the bone to kind of like, truly, let it heal. And it has to burn.”
‘Nothing Seems the Same’ ,Episode 1 of ‘Station 19’ finally put missing pieces of the puzzle back together!
This in fact opened up to a series of questions like ‘why her dad lied to her’and why did her mom leave and fake her death? Also the new season seems to be pandemic-focused makes it all the more complicated.
The first episode from the season 4 of Station 19 was premiered in ABC on November 12th Thursday at 8 pm. In this episode the unexpected villainy of COVID-19 pandemic attacks Seattle and the Station 19 crew leans on each other for support. Andy tries to make sense of her mother’s return, while Sullivan settles into a new routine. And it’s all-hands-on-deck when a group of teenagers unintentionally starts a wildfire.
As far as the questions about the return of Andy’s mother is concerned there exist a number of speculations. “I can’t give you any details!” Ortiz told ET Online, before offering a clue. “She checks herself into a psychiatric hospital. It will be extremely intense and shocking, and I feel like her personal life, her family life on top of the pandemic will definitely [be dramatic].” That seems to be a hint. Maybe Andy’s mom was suffering from mental health issues and that is why her father hid it.
