Nicolas Kin Coppola known professionally as Nicolas Cage is an American actor and filmmaker. He has a great fan base for his many characters from movies like Ghost Rider, National Treasure, Face/off and Lord of War. His best popular movies are Con Air, Leaving Las Vegas, Face/off, Adaptation and National Treasure. He had done movies of different genres including action, romance, science fiction, horror, thriller and psycho-thrillers.

He first played a minor character in Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982), and he has done characters of both mainstream and offbeat.

  1. Benjamin Franklin Gates (National Treasure) – Nicolas Cage played the role of an American treasure hunter and cryptologist in the movie NAtional. Benjamin is the protagonist of the film. Benjamin is an ambitious adventure-loving young man who was raised by hearing his grandfather. He then pursues the life of a treasure hunter. Cage made a great character out of the role and his acting was stunning in the sequel movie too, “National treasure: Book of Secrets” released in 2007.
  2. Johnny Blaze/ Ghost Rider – Cage played Johnny Blaze/ Ghost Rider in the movie Ghost Rider written and directed by Mark Steven Johnson. Ghost Rider is originally a fictional superhero who appeared in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Johnny Blaze is a bike stuntman who signs a deal with the devil and later turns into a ghost bike rider in the nights and punishes those who do sin. Cage played the character in the sequel movie too, called Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.
  3. Seth/Angel (City of Angels) – Nicolas Cage played the role of Seth an Angel in the movie City of Angels released in 1998. Seth, an angel unbounded to any emotions and feelings meets a woman, a doctor Dr Maggie Rice, during his angelic duty. He then falls in love with Dr Maggie and later decides to sacrifice his immortal life and to become a human. He joins with his love Maggie who also loves him back. Cage portrayed the character very purely. He showed the transformation of Seth very accurately.
