Tracee Ellis Ross To Be Nominated For 52nd NAACP Image Awards 2021

52nd NAACP Image Awards 2021 are officially nominating Tracee Ellis Ross for the Outstanding Actress in ‘The High Note’ and in Comedy series ‘ABC’s Blackish.

 The NAACP has revealed 2021 nominees for its annual Image Awards, celebrating the work of artists of color and their achievements in motion pictures. 

The “Global Award” winner is been nominated as the outstanding actress in motion picture  “The High Note” and the best actress in comedy series Blackish. 

The 48- year- old actress has been in the entertainment business for years- from her work in The Lyricist Lounge Show, the ensemble sitcom Girlfreinds, and her Golden Globe swimming role as Dr. Rainbow “ Bow” Johnson in the ABC comedy Blackish. 

In the film “The High Note” the actress plays a singing superstar and in preparation for the role which required singing six original songs, Tracee worked with a voice coach and studied clips of performers.
