The Presidential election is only 78 days away, and the heat between Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and Republican President Donald Trump is rising day by day.
Watch Kamala Harris as VP: Responses and Objections
Biden who pledged to choose a woman as his running mate announced Kamala Harris as his vice president.
He posted the news on twitter saying his choice about Kamala Harris as VP in Presidential election 2020 “ I have the great honor to announce that I’ve picked Kamala Harris a fearless fighter for the little guy, and one of the country’s finest public servants – as running mate.”
Trump against Kamala
This news made more impact when President Donald Trump called Harris “the meanest, the most horrible, most disrespectful” during a White House briefing on the same day of the announcement. Since the announcement of selecting Kamala Harris by Biden, Trump has been attacking Kamala Harris and Biden through social media, mostly Twitter. Trump’s first Twitter post was a 30-second video in which Kamala Harris is called “Phony Kamala” and also calling Biden “Slow Joe”.
The next post from Trump was later the same day, describing Kamala’s presidential run. Trump wrote “Kamala Harris started strong in the Democrat Primaries, and finished weak, ultimately fleeing the race with almost zero support. That’s kind opponent everyone dreams of!”
Trump, on August 13 posted accusing certain media is giving a free pass to Kamala Harris despite her Radical Left Failures and her poor run in the Democrat Primary. In this very same post, Trump called Kamala “meaner” once again.
President Trump posted over a dozen retweets the following days.
Biden supporting Kamala
Biden has been defending and praising Kamala through Twitter posts since the announcement. On the day of the announcement, Biden wrote describing Kamala Harris of her Indian and Jamaican lineage.
In another post on the same day, Biden wrote “Kamala never shies away from fighting tooth and nail for what’s right” – “She will wake up every day thinking about how to make life better for the people of our country.”
Day after the announcement, Biden wrote Kamala Harris can define America in one simple word—possibilities. He also wrote how he came to know Kamala Harris through his son and his respect for her. Biden has since been defending Kamala regularly through his Twitter posts in the following days.
