The Upcoming Marvel Series “Loki” is literally an answering to the most asked question after Avengers: Endgame. “Where does Loki go?, What happens to him?”. These were the most frequently asked questions by viewers and fans. The answers to these questions were expected to be answered in the Avengers: Infinity War. Rather it remained a mystery as Loki was killed by Thanos at the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War, in real-time.
Now the question is being answered as a Tv series “Loki”. This series will follow the adventures of Loki who escaped with the Space Stone in Avengers: Endgame. Recently a trailer was released and it shows Loki on an unnamed planet and is taken prisoner by Time Variance Authority (TVA), where he is being taken somewhere in an elevator to “talk”. TVA actually stands for Time Variance Authority. First introduced in comics – Thor #372 by Walt Simonson in 1986, TVA is an organization of people who monitor time.
Tom Hiddleston reprises his role of Loki in the series. The cast of Loki includes Sophia Di Martino, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Sasha Lane. All six episodes will be directed by Kate Herron. Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios said while presenting the clip that it is a crime-thriller, and it certainly seems that way. Crime-thriller with a dash of Loki’s charm.
Owen Wilson’s unnamed character makes an appearance, talking with Loki in the elevator after Loki’s apparent capture. ‘You’re taking me somewhere to kill me,’ Loki can be heard asking as they make their way down a golden elevator amid a massive corridor. ‘No, I’m taking you someplace to talk,’ Wilson’s shoots back with a straight face.
Tom Hiddleston said that since this Series will investigate a Loki from the past as he crosses the spacetime continuum, “there’s a great deal of mental development that has still yet to occur.” Yet, it will likewise have a lot of amusingness. The new Loki series, and its six episodes, is expected to be released on Disney+ in May 2021.
