World Trigger Season 1 Was A Massive 73 Episode Series
One of the most awaited series of the decade Daisuke Ashihara’s World Trigger is returning with the second series. After the filling 73 episodes of the first season of the series, the studio is coming back for raiding the hearts with the fantasy series’s second part.
The first season of the series was one of the biggest action hits when it was ongoing, but it will have been five years since the first season’s massive 73 episode order came to an end by the time the new episodes premiere. The official Twitter account for World Trigger’s anime confirmed that Season 2 of the series is gearing up for its premiere in Japan on January 9th next year as part of the Winter 2021 anime season.

The first season of the season is when A gate to another dimension has burst open, and from it emerge gigantic invincible creatures that threaten all of humanity. Earth’s only defence is a mysterious group of warriors who have co-opted the alien technology in order to fight back!
