Xiaomi certified new smartphone, and the company didn’t launch a regular Redmi Note 9 at the event, only Xiaomi lifted the covers off the Redmi Note 9 series early last month at an online-only launch event in India. And this led us to believe that the device launch at a later date.
Now, an upcoming Redmi smartphone has surfaced on Chinese regulatory authority TENAA’s website. Featuring a design similar to that of the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max. As part of the series, featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720G chip, a quad-camera setup, and up to 33W fast charging support. It features the same back panel design with the new square camera module that Xiaomi introduced with devices in the Redmi Note 9 series.
Xiaomi leads us to believe that this device could be the Redmi Note 9 or another Redmi Note series variant that may launch soon. The listing further reveals a few key details about the device weighs 198 g, features a 6.53-inch FHD+ IPS display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and that a 4,920mAh battery powers it. Additionally, we also learn that it will feature an octa-core SoC clocked at 2.0Ghz, coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. As of now, we have no further information about the upcoming device, but we expect Xiaomi to release more details soon. To know more technology news click here.
