The online video sharing giant Youtube shared their Condolences to Filipino vlogger Lloyd Cadena.
Lloyd Cafe Cadena, hailed by many as “one of the pioneers of YouTube vlogging” in the Philippines, died on 4th September. On Friday, his family informed of Lloyd’s death through a statement posted on Facebook. Cadena got his fame on YouTube by documenting his travelling adventures. He has a total of 3 million subscribers on YouTube and 252 million views on his channel.

YouTube took part in the mourning of Lloyd’s death and wrote on Twitter. YouTube showed their condolences by writing “We are saddened to learn about the loss of Filipino creator Lloyd Cafe Cadena. We send our condolences to his family, friends and everyone he inspired.”
Lloyd had his own fan base which he nicknamed “Cadenators”.

He started vlogging while he was a student in 2011, and became one of the internet’s most beloved personalities. He majored in financial management at Colegio de San Juan de Letrán and formally studied at Olivarez College.
Though he started with parodies, Lloyd started uploading videos for his famous “LC Learns” series. His first video uploaded was a parody of Shakira’s “Rabiosa”, uploaded on June 3, 2011.
Alongside doing videos on YouTube, he worked as a radio DJ on 93.9 IFM hosting a program called Gabi Ng Hanash in 2014.
